World organization for performing arts is a community-driven network that brings together more groups for a harmonious interaction.The drive aims at fostering arts,peace and environmental promotion through participatory and empowering arts activities.

The overall objective of the project is to: To nature the talented youths ,Market young, innovative and creative talents locally and international

1.We Seeks volunteers locally and abroad willing to share their skills and resources, financial time and material.
2.Acquire instrument both traditional like percussion and modern like a pair of drum set speakers, mixer, keyboard and trumpet among others either through purchase or donation both monetary and materiality(old or unused instrument)
3.Purchase an acre of land to build an arts center

Note from the Chairman

Let’s face it guys, the only reason the society thinks of the youth is because the youth actually engage in activities that put them and the society at large in risk e.g. Crime or drug abuse. We can all bear witness to this since we see in the media and in our neighborhoods that prisons are full of youth, gangsters gunned down are youth, individuals getting wasted by drugs are youth, people used to cause mayhem by politicians and other parties are youth … Come to think of it as much as the above is wrong ALL who take part do it to get some money to cater to their needs. People get to earn good money if they are employed but as it is in Kenya majority are unemployed and there are no job opportunities. We will not be wrong to conclude that the reason youth engage in all this activities is as a result of lack of Jobs and Idleness.

   

World Organization for Performing Arts is honored to receiving the grant from Art Project Earth. We have been innovative in creating meager amounts of cash in our Nairobi slum. With this money we will be able to positively impact the youth

in our
community so they will have a tangible way to achieve goals in their performing arts and tyre recycling, creating options for more than just survival. Hidden gems will now have a venue to shine for the world.
